I’ll be in Japan from September, I got the final confirmation from the university back there.
Problem: from this year, Japanese government has practically reduced the scholarships by a good half - so on top of very probably not getting it, I’ll know if I have it from September/October. Go, Monbukagakushou. Go.
(I’m already compiling wishlists though - hoping to fulfill a desire or two while I’m there, at least the ones involving BOOKS.)

Completely independent from city water and electricity, this beautiful house in Spain has managed to maintain off the grid.
Located relatively close to fresh water streams, this house has ample access to fresh water. This fresh water access is beneficial since hydroelectricity is used to maintain the house during winter.

My niece just had her first birthday, and I decided it was about time she had her very own batmobile. It doubles as a convertible!
I saw a few of these floating around the net a couple years ago and knew someday I would have to make one. So I bought a Cozy Coupe from a local consignment shop, and decided to go all out instead of just putting the logo on the side. It was a fun little project!
